Free Movie Nights: Come to the Library, Escape to Somewhere Else
Wednesdays in June
5:30 pm
The Provincetown Public Library welcomes the community to participate in the June free movie month comprised of four feature films that will let viewers escape to another place, all while sitting comfortably in the Library! This line-up of classic and contemporary films has been carefully selected by Deb Karacozian, Library staff member and film aficionado.  The films start at 5:30 pm and will be shown in the following order:

June 5: Casablanca (1942; 1 hour, 42 minutes): A cynical American expatriate struggles to decide whether or not he should help his former lover and her fugitive husband escape French Morocco.

June 12: Sleepless in Seattle (1993; 1 hour, 45 minutes): A recently widowed man’s son calls a radio talk-show in an attempt to find his father a partner.

June 19: Bridges of Madison County (1995; 2 hours, 15 minutes): Photographer Robert Kincaid wanders into the life of housewife Francesca Johnson, for four days in the 1960s.

June 26: The Philadelphia Story (1940; 1 hour, 52 minutes): When a rich woman’s ex-husband and a tabloid-type reporter turn up just before her planned remarriage, she begins to learn the truth about herself.
