Join speakers Xiomy Avila and Chris Dynega on the Library’s Second Level for a discussion featuring a basic explanation of how Ayurveda works and differs from other medicine. The presentation will help attendees to form a daily routine aimed to establish body and mind rhythm, find a diet/lifestyle for your biotype “Dosha” during the season, and learn healthy habits for increased longevity.
Xiomy and Chris studied Ayurveda in Kerala, India, at the College of Ayurveda and Panchakarma. Chris studied herbology, advanced massage, diagnosis of patients and preparation of Ayurvedic medicines. Xiomy enrolled in several other courses including Yoga Therapy, an Ayurvedic Pregnancy care.
They are both Ayurvedic Practitioners in Chatham, who are passionate about practicing and sharing their knowledge. Join us to explore an Ayurvedic approach to Life in Harmony during the spring season, while learning to listen to your heart.
