The Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) is dedicated to preventing environmental causes of breast cancer through community education, research, advocacy, and changes to public policy.
This talk, given by Betty Anne Bevis, will cover:
Environmental exposures, chemicals of concern and their potential health impact.
The importance of reducing toxic exposure which has implications for reducing the burden and cost of all environmentally-linked diseases, including breast cancer.
Time for sharing by participants on how breast cancer and other cancers has affected them or someone they know and how it has impacted their lives.
