Mark Loewen: What Does a Princess Really Look Like
Sunday, July 29
Join the Provincetown Public Library for a fun, Family Week storytime event! Author Mark Loewen will read from his children’s book What Does a Princess Really Look Like, a story focused on helping young girls embrace the value of their own characteristics and quirks.
What Does a Princess Really Look Like? helps children expand their image of a princess, to include character traits such as being strong, courageous, determined, assertive, and kind, while also sharing the story of young Chloe and her two dads.
Princesses that were represented (by the children) in past events: Ninjas, athletes, and a picture of “all of us.” After reading the book, the children can draw their own princess and show us what THEY think a princess looks like.
Books will be available for purchase and for signing by the author!
