Mary Martin in Hello, Dolly!: The Tour of a Lifetime
July 25 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Join George Dansker on Thurday, July 25 at 6:00 pm in the Marc Jacobs Reading Room for an unforgettable presentation on Mary Martin’s tour of Hello, Dolly!
The story of Mary Martin’s tour of Hello, Dolly! is much more than the journey of a hit Broadway show on tour — from rehearsals, performances across America and then to Japan, Vietnam and Korea, and finally to London — it became an emotional journey of great cultural importance and a lifetime of memories for the entire cast. George Dansker will provide a presentation featuring rare photographs, letters, audio recordings and videos of Mary Martin as she starred in the first national tour of this legendary musical.
