The Harper and The Minstrel present: An Early Must Wynter Concert

Join us at the Provincetown Public Library for a special Holly Folly Winter Concert presented by The Harper and the Minstrel on Thursday, November 30 at 6:30pm.

The concert will feature Holiday and Wynter Music from The Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Periods and will be accompanied by a variety of Period Instruments including: the Cláirseach (Irish Wire-Strung Harp), the Gothic Harp, the Celtic Folk Harp, the Bowed Psaltery, Alto, Soprano and Tenor Records, the Irish Wooden Flute, the Penny Whistles, the Mountain Dulcimer, the Hammered Dulcimer, the Bowed Dulcimer/Viol, the Baroque Guitar, the Rebec, and the vocals of Abby and Jay Michaels.

About The Harper and The Minstrel: The Harper and The Minstrel specialize in beautiful Ayres and Ballads, but are quite adept at Jigs, Reels & Dances. Their vast repertoire includes unique arrangements of Music ranging from the 13th thru the 18th Centuries.

The Music of The Harper and The Minstrel has enhanced several Television programs including ABC’s Nashville & Secrets and Lies, NBC’s Parenthood & Parks and Recreation, Fox’s Lie To Me, & Rosewood. Jay Michaels Harp Music also appears in the Independent Films How To Be A Latin Lover and Baby Baby Baby.
