In conjunction with Provincetown Schools, the Provincetown Housing Office, and the Provincetown Health Department, the Provincetown Public Library is happy to offer eight classes at the Provincetown schools. These classes are free and open to the community on a drop in basis. These classes include:
Cardmaking: Learn how to make homemade cards for every occasion and holiday ($5 materials fee per class)
Acting Shakespeare: Read and act the works of William Shakespeare on stage.
The Mindful Way: A mindfulness based program designed to help deal with persistent and unwanted mood states like anxiety, stress, and depression.
Knitting at Night: Learn to create your own wearables.
Pies, Pies, and More Pies: Fruit, meat, and beyond. Learn how to make your own dough, different styles of pies, and take home your very own creations.
Talk (Wood)Shop: Work alongside friends and neighbors with guidance from a roster of local working legends and legends in the making. Bring your own materials and projects. Woodshop tools and equipment available.
Eating for Your Health: From detox diet foods to Chinese medicinal foods that lift your mood, learn about foods that will help with an array of ailments.
Creative Writing Workshop: Bring your writing and let’s get creative! Each week we’ll discuss a new genre guiding you towards your writing potential.
The Musicals with a Message class will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Provincetown Public Library.
