An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Tuesday, repeating until January 31, 2018
Tuesdays in January
On Tuesday evenings in January, the Provincetown Public Library will offer a Women’s Write-In Program, organized by Mary Ann Bragg. The program will offer a chance for women to work in each other’s company to polish an essay or op-ed piece, ask for feedback on a poem, or make progress on a novel, screenplay, play or any other written work.
Writers will write for 30 minutes or so and then read excerpts of their work if they wish. On the last Tuesday (Jan. 30), there will be a Submit-A-Thon to identify publication opportunities, and writers will have the chance to hit the SUBMIT button.
The Write-In program will take place in the Bowsprit Room at the Provincetown Public Library from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on January 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. Each meeting is free and open to the public. There’s no sign-up so come to as many as you can. Bring a laptop or notebook.
From Mary Ann Bragg: “I’m a Provincetown resident and journalist with a few creative writing publication credits to my name and many more rejections. If you have any questions, please do ask at firstname.lastname@example.org.”
