Writer’s Voice Café
Wednesday, March 8
This month, the Provincetown Public Library continues its collaborative effort with the renowned Writers Voice Café. Continuing to further its mission of becoming a center for cultural storytelling in our community, the Library is working with the founding members of the Writer’s Voice Café to produce a series of Open Mic events and Workshops in 2017. Founded by Dian Hamilton with Hilde Oleson joining shortly thereafter, The Writer’s Voice Café provides writers of all media opportunities to share their work and to connect with others in the community for support and inspiration.
On Wednesday, March 8, the Writer’s Voice Café will feature a community open mic session followed by a reading by Fine Arts Work Center Fellows Michael Deagler, Leila Chatti, Philip Matthews, and Tom Macher. The Fellows will be reading original works of fiction and poetry.
The March Writer’s Voice Café event at the Provincetown Public Library will be held in the Marc Jacobs Reading Room on Wednesday, March 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be served. Everyone is welcome!
