Writer’s Voice Café
Wednesday, September 13
This month, the Provincetown Public Library continues its collaborative effort with the renowned Writers Voice Café. Continuing to further its mission of becoming a center for cultural storytelling in our community, the Library is working with the founding members of the Writer’s Voice Café to produce a series of Open Mic events and Workshops in 2017. Founded by Dian Hamilton with Hilde Oleson joining shortly thereafter, the Writer’s Voice Café provides writers of all media opportunities to share their work and to connect with others in the community for support and inspiration.
On Wednesday, September 13, the Writer’s Voice Café will feature a community open mic session followed by “An Evening of Droning Provincetown,” a discussion with local poet Hilde Oleson and aerial drone pilot and filmmaker David A. Cox.
The September Writer’s Voice Café event at the Provincetown Public Library will be held in the Marc Jacobs Reading Room on Wednesday, September 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be served. Everyone is welcome! This program is sponsored by the Provincetown Board of Library Trustees.
