Virtual: Reshape Your Beliefs and Unlock Your True Potential with Nir Eyal

What if the only thing standing between you and the seemingly impossible…was belief? This is the question posed by bestselling author Nir Eyal in his new work, Beyond Belief.

Most of your limits aren’t physical. They’re psychological. In Beyond Belief, Nir Eyal reveals how the hidden assumptions you carry shape what you see, how you feel, and what you do—and how to replace them with beliefs that unlock your true potential.

Grounded in neuroscience, psychology, and unforgettable case studies, Eyal introduces the Three Powers of Belief: Attention, Anticipation, and Agency. Mastering these powers transforms how you see challenges, feel about the future, and act when it matters most.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Spot hidden opportunities and solutions others overlook.

  • Reclaim your mood, energy, and confidence by reshaping your beliefs.

  • Stay calm, decisive, and in control when life feels uncertain.

  • Break free from beliefs that sabotage your health, relationships, and career.

  • Push further, last longer, and achieve beyond your limits.

If you’ve ever quit too soon, stalled in your career, or sabotaged your own goals, this book gives you the science and the system to go further than you thought possible.

Surgeries without anesthesia. Placebos that heal. Resilience multiplied 240 times longer. Beyond Belief reveals the science behind these breakthroughs and shows why your limits aren’t fixed—they’re learned. And with the right beliefs, you can achieve breakthrough results.

Register now to learn more about how we can unlock our true potential.

Now a popular student at the best girls’ high school in Iran, Ellie’s memories of Homa begin to fade. Years later, however, her sudden reappearance in Ellie’s privileged world alters the course of both of their lives.

Moby-Dick Marathon April 24-26, 2026

The tenth annual Provincetown Public Library Moby-Dick Marathon Reading returns this April 2026. Joining New Bedford, MA, Mystic, CT, and New York City, this Moby-Dick Marathon celebrates Provincetown’s significant whaling heritage, as well as its history as the nation’s oldest continuous art colony. Published in 1851, Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick chronicles the obsessive quest of Ahab, captain of the whaler Pequod, for revenge on a massive white whale responsible for destroying his ship and severing his leg at the knee during a previous voyage. The three-day marathon reading of this nineteenth century masterwork will be held at the Provincetown Library on the starboard side of the Rose Dorothea Model. Readings will begin promptly at 10:00 am on Friday, April 24. Please arrive by 9:50 am for seating. The full weekend reading schedule is as follows:

Friday, April 24: 10 am to 5 pm Saturday, April 25: 10 am to 10 pm Sunday, April 26: 10 am to 5 pm

Provincetown holds a rich whaling history dating back to the early 18th century when skilled Portuguese seamen settled at Land’s End where they started families, manned ships, and became captains of their own vessels. By 1870, the whaling industry had created a since-unrivaled era of prosperity in Provincetown, then ranking as one of the richest towns in Massachusetts. In the century between 1820 and 1920, more than 160 vessels were outfitted from Provincetown, ranking her third in the U.S. in voyages launched (902).

Uniting members of Provincetown’s literary, art, theater, and academic communities, the event will bring together over 110 participants at the Provincetown Library to read Melville’s classic work aloud throughout a total of more than 24 hours. Passages of roughly five pages each are read throughout the weekend by the community, visitors, library staff, trustees and Melville enthusiasts. Admission to the Marathon is free.

Those interested in participating as readers in this year’s iteration of the Provincetown Public Library Moby-Dick Marathon Reading are encouraged to email ptownmobymarathon@gmail.com

Grant King and Dave Brown in Concert

Singers and songwriters Grant King and Dave Brown perform a free, acoustic performance.

This will be Part 2 of the songwriters-in-concert series “Songs I Wish I’d Written!,” curated by King.

Inspired and influenced by particular songs for many years, King started the series to honor fellow songwriters’ work. For this concert, he invited special guest Dave Brown to showcase his original material.

“The fact there are many local songwriters I admire makes this project all the sweeter for me,” King says. The series’ concerts begin with King singing covers, along with a few originals, accompanied by his guitar, before introducing a special guest.

Both involved in the 1990s with Outmusic, New York City’s LGBTQ+ collective, Brown and King performed and collaborated with a wide variety of musicians, and have been praised for common trademarks of poignancy, humor, and activism in their work.

Brown and King have each released acclaimed recordings on their independent labels, Chihuahua Records and Know More Secrets, respectively.

About Dave Brown:
“Intelligent, well-thought-out lyrics and melodic harmonies.” – Billboard Magazine
“A keen interpreter of pop, jazz and Broadway standards, Brown is also an accomplished guitarist.” – Broadway World

About Grant King:
“Sterling...Wonderfully romantic and utterly hopeful.” – Billboard Magazine
“King sings gorgeous pop-folk with an honesty and passion seldom heard.” – The Advocate
