The gray landscape
A Poem by Suzann Heron

There’s something easy
reassuring
about looking out over a grey
sky
met with the same grey
ocean

My heart feels
Comfortable

Only one color

Not much to ponder yet reliable

The Sun peaks through a cloud
In it’s simple way of unfolding the light
Like a stairway from heaven
Inviting you to an opening
and possibilities
