What I Plan to Do
A Poem by Corinne Diana

I start by doing
What I’ve said
I’d do for someone
Else that day
Then do what most
I want to do

By afternoon
I need to nap
Which brings me to
The supper hour
And then to evening
“What to do.”

In or out
Work or play
Start by doing
That’s the trick
But starting where
And doing what

Tomorrow maybe
There’ll be more
Time to start
Where I left off
Deciding what I
Plan to do
