Free Movie Nights: Weddings

Wednesdays in November, 5:30 pm

The Provincetown Public Library welcomes the community to participate in the return free movie Wednesdays!  November’s series is comprised of three films featuring the good, the bad, and the ugly of weddings! This line-up of classic films has been carefully selected by Clayton Nottleman, Library staff member and film aficionado.  The films start at 5:30 pm and will be shown in the following order:

November 3: Muriel’s Wedding (1994; 1 hour, 45 minutes): No one ever paid much attention to Muriel and her humdrum small- town life, so she and her best friend Rhonda decide to leave it behind and head for the big city...where they end up having the exciting adventure of their lives! What's more, soon everyone takes notice when Muriel becomes engaged to a handsome and popular sports hero!

November 10: Bridesmaids (2011; 2 hours, 5 minutes): Annie’s life is a mess. But when she finds out her lifetime best friend is engaged, she simply must serve as Lillian's maid of honor. Though lovelorn and broke, Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals. With one chance to get it perfect, she'll show Lillian and her bridesmaids just how far you'll go for someone you love.

November 17: Margot at the Wedding (2008; 1 hour, 32 minutes): When short story writer, Margot , and her son, Claude, attend the wedding of her sister, Pauline, it seems as if a family rift is being mended. Despite their best efforts, Margot and Pauline revert to their most dysfunctional selves
