Get a Library Card

Approved by Board of Library Trustees April 18, 2018

The Provincetown Public Library is part of the CLAMS (Cape Libraries Automated Materials Sharing) Network, a consortium of Cape Cod Libraries, including Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket. Cards issued by any CLAMS member library are valid at all member libraries. The library cardholder is responsible for all fines and lost or damaged materials checked out to their card.

Library cards may be obtained for free at the library after filling out a registration form at the circulation desk. Proof of address is required. Replacement for lost cards is $1.00. Massachusetts residents and Massachusetts property owners will be asked to update their registration information every three years. Nonresidents will be asked to update their registration information annually. A parental signature is required for patrons under the age of 16.
