Free Movie Nights:  Love Stories: From Book to Film with a side of Keira Knightley

Wednesdays in February at 5:30 pm in the Marc Jacobs Reading Room

Join us for Wednesday Night Movies at the Library! This month we are showing four romantic films based on books and featuring the one and only Keira Knightley! This line-up has been carefully selected by Deb Karacozian, Library staff member and film aficionado. The films start at 5:30 pm and will be shown in the following order:

February 1: Pride and Prejudice (2005; 2 hours, 9 minutes): Sparks fly when spirited Elizabeth Bennet meets single, rich, and proud Mr. Darcy. But Mr. Darcy reluctantly finds himself falling in love with a woman beneath his class. Can each overcome their own pride and prejudice?

February 8: Atonement (2007; 2 hours, 3 minutes): Thirteen-year-old fledgling writer Briony Tallis irrevocably changes the course of several lives when she accuses her older sister's lover of a crime he did not commit.

February 15: Never Let Me Go (2009; 1 hour, 43 minutes): The lives of three friends, from their early school days into young adulthood, when the reality of the world they live in comes knocking.

February 22: Anna Karenina (2012; 2 hours, 9 minutes): In late-19th-century Russian high society, St. Petersburg aristocrat Anna Karenina enters into a life-changing affair with the dashing Count Alexei Vronsky.
