Free Movie Nights: Very Presidential

Wednesdays in July, 5:30 pm

Join us for Wednesday Night Movies at the Library! This month we are showing four films featuring POTUS! This line-up has been carefully selected by Khristine Hopkins, Library staff member and film aficionado.  The films start at 5:30 pm and will be shown in the following order:

July 6: All the President’s Men (1976; 2 hours, 18 minutes): "The Washington Post" reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein uncover the details of the Watergate scandal that leads to President Richard Nixon's resignation.

July 13: Dave (1984; 1 hour, 32 minutes): An uncanny Presidential lookalike named Dave is recruited by the Secret Service to become a momentary stand-in for the President of the United States.

July 20: My Fellow Americans (1996; 1 hour, 41 minutes): Two former U. S. Presidents, hated rivals, join forces to expose the current, corrupt President at the risk of their lives.

July 27: Wag the Dog (1997; 1 hour, 37 minutes): Shortly before an election, a spin-doctor and a Hollywood producer join efforts to fabricate a war in order to cover up a Presidential sex scandal.
