Free Movie Nights: October Chills

Join us for Wednesday Night Movies at the Library! This month we are showing four films sure to give you the chills! This line-up has been carefully selected by Matthew Capaldo, Library staff member and film aficionado.  The October 19th film will be shown on the Library’s Lower Level. The films start at 5:30 pm and will be shown in the following order:

October 5: Safe (1995; 1 hour, 59 minutes): An affluent and unexceptional homemaker in the suburbs develops multiple chemical sensitivity.
October 12: Wait Until Dark (1967; 1 hour, 48 minutes): A recently blinded woman is terrorized by a trio of thugs while they search for a heroin-stuffed doll they believe is in her apartment.
October 19: The Night of the Hunter (1955; 1 hour, 32 minutes): A religious fanatic marries a gullible widow whose young children are reluctant to tell him where their real daddy hid the $10,000 he'd stolen in a robbery.
October 26: The Witch (2015; 1 hour, 32 minutes): A family in 1630s New England is torn apart by the forces of witchcraft, black magic, and possession.
