Thursday, September 30 at 6:00 pm via Zoom
In this Zoom event, novelist Jeff W. Bens will discuss the importance of the writer’s consideration of the role of jobs and settings in creating characters that capture the reader’s heart. The workshop also will explore how this consideration can help writers discover the right voice for their projects.
The workshop will look at examples from fiction and poetry and Jeff will share two exercises. Participants will take away new approaches to energizing their work and more deeply engaging their readers. Email Library Director Amy Raff at araff@clamsnet.org for the Zoom link.
This workshop is appropriate for all levels and all types of writers and projects.
