This class we will dig into the most important concept in organic pest and Disease control, prevention. We will discuss common and uncommon pest and disease problems. You will learn about pest ID, integrated pest management (IPM), and organic tools to combat these challenges when they arrive in your garden.
Co-hosted with Truro Public Library, this four-part series will offer insight into getting your garden started and maintaining a healthy garden.

- February 8, 5:30 pm-Garden Plan|Crop Rotation|Seeds: Every productive garden requires a good realistic plan. Dave will talk about the steps to gardening on paper, starting with seed catalogs, crop rotation, and planting schedules. We will then tackle starting seeds at home and buying plants from your local nursery.
- February 22, 5:30 pm-Beyond Organic: In the last class of our series Dave will introduce more advanced production methods. Catering to the home gardener, he will discuss Bio-Dynamic, Regenerative Agriculture and Korean Natural Farming (KNF), production models that go beyond conventional organic gardening and farming.
