IN Person: Grief 101: Creating Grief-Sensitive Communities

  • Provincetown Public Library 356 Commercial Street Provincetown, MA, 02657 United States (map)

The Town of Provincetown, ASGCC, and the Outer Cape Health Services Navigator program, in partnership with Sharing Kindness, will host "Grief 101: Creating Grief-Sensitive Communities” on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Provincetown Library.

This event is designed to help the community better understand grief and how to become more grief-informed. By embracing emotions and finding hope, we learn to support those grieving in our lives, we can reduce the stigma surrounding suicide and overdose deaths and foster a more compassionate, understanding community for the bereaved. This is a critical step toward reducing the isolation that can accompany loss, while building resilience and empathy among community members.
