Measles is highly contagious and sometimes dangerous. Although declared eliminated in the U.S in 2000, there has been a recent cluster of cases due to declining vaccination rates.

The MMR vaccine is safe, effective, and provides lifelong protection. Stay protected and help keep our community safe.

There are certain medical contradictions; please see the flyer and if you have questions, consult with your primary care or contact the Barnstable County public health nursing program 508-375-6617.
