Free Movie Nights: Dangerous Women

Wednesdays in May, 5:30 pm

Join us for Wednesday Night Movies at the Library! As a follow up to March’s “Bad Boys” series, this month we are showing four films featuring dangerous women! This line-up has been carefully selected by Mary Alice Wells and Deb Karacozian, Library staff members and film aficionados.  The films start at 5:30 pm and will be shown in the following order:

May 4: Body Heat (1981; 1 hour, 53 minutes): In the midst of a searing Florida heat wave, a woman persuades her lover, a small-town lawyer, to murder her rich husband.

May 11: Black Widow (1987; 1 hour, 42 minutes): A federal investigator tracks down a gold-digging woman who moves from husband to husband to kill them and collect the inheritance.

May 18: The Last Seduction (1994; 1 hour, 50 minutes): A devious sexpot steals her husband's drug money and hides out in a small town where she meets the perfect dupe for her next scheme.

May 25: Widows (2018; 2 hours, 9 minutes): Four women with nothing in common except a debt left behind by their dead husbands' criminal activities take fate into their own hands and conspire to forge a future on their own terms.
