While sharing stories and insights from her Italian lineage, Nicole Cormier, Outer Cape chef & knowledgeable dietitian, will prepare a Piedmont-inspired polenta dish using locally-sourced cornmeal, Cape Cod-grown garlic and herbs, and Uli’s mushrooms. Not only will you get to see her step-by-step process, you’ll also find out where to source ingredients locally and learn the nutritional benefits of these foods. Additionally, you’ll leave with some other ideas for simple & nourishing meals and learn how to incorporate more nutrient-rich foods into your cooking practice. Join us for this special event where delicious flavors and locally-grown foods come together in a traditional old world recipe.

OUR PRESENTER, Nicole Cormier is an herbalist, registered dietitian, local food enthusiast, author, and intuitive eating nutrition therapist. She indulges her passion for nutrition and local foods on beautiful Cape Cod through her nutrition therapy practice, Delicious Living Nutrition, and Dietetic Internship. Her collaborations with local chefs, non-profits, schools, farmers’ markets, restaurants, and art centers include programs, dinners, workshops, and catering.
